Kevin Holladay became a clown for the Gentry Bros. Circus in 1990, when the producers hired the Bloomingon Playwright's Project to write historical vignettes for a revival of this historical travelling show. He was then bitten by the circus bug and:
•Went on to clown in 6 circuses, including performing with Circus America at the 1996 Olympic Games
•Stood on stage, dressed as a clown, at the 1996 Olympic Torch lighting ceremony
•Served as the Artistic Director of the High Flyers Family Circus and Circus Geographica
•Taught circus arts with The National Circus Project in New York for 3 years
