•Performed in his first play at age 7 (Munchkin: Wizard of Oz)
•Started taking private acting lessons at age 9
•Started writing and performing sketch comedy at age 13
•Wrote my first full length play (94 pages) at age 17
•Received a degree in Playwriting from Indiana University in 1988
•Went on to serve on the Bloomington Area Arts Council and on the Board of Directors at the Bloomington Playwright’s Project
•Has had plays produced in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, L.A., Orlando, Florida, London, and Edingburgh, Scotland
•Became a clown for the Gentry Bros. Circus in 1990.
•Went on to clown in 6 circuses, including performing with Circus America at the 1996 Olympic Games
•Stood on stage, dressed as a clown, at the 1996 Olympic Torch lighting ceremony
•Served as the Artistic Director of the High Flyers Family Circus and Circus Geographica
•Taught circus arts with The National Circus Project in New York for 3 years
•Taught kindergarten for 8 years
•Toured the eastern U.S., performing for kids as a storyteller and singer/songwriter for more than a decade
